Sir Syed College is a Post Graduate institution affiliated to the University of Kannur in Kerala, south India and run by the Kannur DistrictMuslim Educational Association. Muslims in Kannur District and Taliparamba Taluk in particular were educationally backward and the College was established mainly to cater to the educational needs of Muslims of this region.
