James L. "Skeeter" Webb (November 4 , 1909 -July 8 , 1986 ) was a Major League Baseball player. He was born in Meridian, Mississippi and died in the same town.
baseball career on July 20 , 1932 , with the St. Louis Cardinals at the age of 23 year-old. He played for 12 seasons on 5 different teams and ended his big league playing career in 1948 .
