Encyclopedia > Skeleton Warrior

In the Dungeons & Dragons role playing game, Skeleton Warriors are a more powerful version of Animated Skeletons: ones created from great warriors. Unlike their lesser kin, Skeleton Warriors retain all of their fighting skill and are highly resistant to magic. Skeleton Warriors are difficult to command, and as such are rarely found in groups greater than two or three.

Lord Soth of Krynn was served by thirteen Skeleton Warriors, the cursed undead remnants of his loyal retainers.

Skeleton Warriors was also the title of an animated cartoon, revolving around the battles of two groups of warrior-wizards, transformed into undead versions of themselves by a magical accident.
