The authorities of Skierniewice have adopted a pro-ecological economic policy compliant with records of two documents playing a key role in further development of the town - "Development Strategy for the Town of Skierniewice for years 2000 - 2015" and "Study of Town Planning Conditions and Lines".
The project "Activation of the economic potential in Skierniewice" presented in Brussels was accepted, which entailed a grant of EUR 4,820,00 from the European Committee to the town.
