A rash is a change in the skin which affects its appearance or texture. A rash may be localised to one part of the body, or affect all the skin. Rashes may cause the skin to change colour, itch, become warm, bumpy, dry, cracked or blistered, swell and may be painful. The causes, and therefore treatments for, rashes vary widely. Diagnosis must take into account such things as the appearance of the rash, other symptoms, what the patient may have been exposed to, occupation, and occurrence in family members.
Common causes of rashes include:
allergies, for example to foods, dyes, medicines, insect stings; such rashes are often called hives
Rash is a change in the color and texture of the skin affecting the appearance of the skin causing irritation, diseases, etc.
Skinrashes are generally related to inflammation, itching, swelling, burning, etc. an individual sensitive to a particular drug or any kind of allergy are most likely to develop skinrashes.
Most of the skinrashes are not so dangerous and could be treated by immediate and proper medication.
Skinrash pictures can be used as a comparison and can give some indication of the type of skinrash however this method is not reliable because pictures of skinrashes vary greatly and many skin disorders change frequently.
The skin is usually a good 'barometer' of how healthy the body is. A skinrash will often reflect toxicity throughout the body at a deeper level such as in the surrounding tissues, lymph system, and liver.
If the skin is not receiving the proper nutrients, or if the systemic toxicity level is too high, this will 'weaken' the skin and make it susceptible to a skinrash or other types of problems.
