The Skoda 100 mm Model 1916 (100 mm M.16) was a mountain gun used by Czechoslovakia (where it was manufactured by Skoda), Germany, Italy, Poland, and Yugoslavia. In addition, the Turks used a 105 mm variant, the M.16(T). The Wehrmacht redesignated this as the 10 cm GebH 16 or 16(ö). Guns acquired from Italy, after 1943, were known as 10 cm GebH 316(i); those acquired from Czechoslovakia were 10 cm GebH 16(t). The Italians referred to this as the Obice da 100/17 modello 16. The gun could be broken into 3 sections, intended for towing by two animalcarts. The gun crew was protected by an armouredshield.

From Germany were imported 50mm Pak 38, 75mm Pak 97/38 and Pak 40, 100mmSkodamodel 1914/19, 150mm Skodamodel 1934, 105mm Krupp model 1918/40 and 105mm Schneider howitzers.
Their artillery consisted in 4 75mm guns and 2 100mm howitzers for the infantry, 2 75mm guns and 2 100mm howitzers for the cavalry and 4 75mm mountain guns and one 100mm mountain howitzer for the mountain troops.
