Encyclopedia > Slieve Bloom Mountains

The Slieve Bloom Mountians rise from the central plain of Ireland to a height of about 560 metres. Called the Sliabh Bladhma in Irish, these mountians, while not overly high, are very extensive. The highest point is Baunreaghcong and the end of the Ridge of Capard.
