Slovenian Littoral in Slovenia

The Slovenian Littoral (Slovenian: Primorska; Italian: Litorale; German: Küstenland) is a traditional region of Slovenia that itself consists of the regions of Goriška and Slovenian Istria (Slovenska Istra). Its name recalls the historical Habsburg crown land of the Austrian Littoral of which the Slovenian Littoral was a part. The main urban centers are Nova Gorica in Goriška and Koper in Istria.
