In the planned third season of SatAM, Snively was to have tried to rule Robotroplis, but fail, which would result in his freeing Ixis Naugus for aid- as well as Robotnik and King Acorn by mistake. Reduced once again, not simply to a lackey but to an insignificant nothing, Snively would rebel against Naugus and Robotnik and join Sonic and the Freedom Fighters. Unfortunately, competition with the first Power Rangers television series forced SatAM off of the air after only two seasons, though a rumour spread amongst fans (and still appears occasionally) that the series was cancelled because a staff-member was selling cells illegally.
