Synopsis

Snorks are a race of small, colorful, fictional beings that live in the underwater world of Snorkland. They have snorkels on their heads, which are used to propel them swiftly through the water. When a Snork becomes excited his tube makes a "snork" sound.[citation needed] Like the Flintstones or the Smurfs, they have much of the same technology as contemporary humans, adapted to their own aquatic environment. The Snorks use clams as currency, a reference to the slang word "clam" meaning "dollar."[citation needed] A snorkeler amid corals on a coral reef near Fiji. ... Characters

  • All-Star Seaworthy - an atheletic, yellow-skinned, male Snork. More or less the hero of the series.
  • Casey Kelp - a pink-skinned, female Snork with red hair and generally believed to be All-Star's love interest. Is suppose to be intelligent and brave.
  • Daffney Gillfin - a vain, pink-skinned, female Snork who was always concerned with her looks and appears to be Dimmy's love interest. Has ambitions of becoming an actress. In one of the episodes she understudies for a famous female, Broadway Theatre Actress Snork (from New Snork City) and becomes the star of the show.
  • Dimmy Finster - an atheletic, orange-skinned, male Snork whom Daffney seemed to have a crush on, fancies himself to be a comedian.
  • Spuds O'Toole - A hard drinking womanizer who spends most of his time drunk muttering about how he could have been a contender.
  • Tooter Shellby - a green-skinned, male Snork who could only communicate through "tooting". Has the ability to communicate with some of the sealife.
  • Occy - Allstar's male, red, pet octopus. He was once owned by Junior until he abandoned him. Occy does NOT get along with Junior whatsoever and will go out of his way to embarrass and/or chase Junior.
  • Junior Wetworth - an orange-skinned, male Snork who's a spoiled rich kid. Before Bigweed became the villain in season 3, Junior was seen as villain-like, due to his rude attitude towards other Snorks. • Corky - an orange-skinned, male Snork. The Snork Patrol Officer.
  • Jojo - A two-snorked Snork who lives in the wild, who is incredibly strong and can communicate with all the fish.
  • Uncle Gallio - a pink-skinned, male Snork. He is involved in all things scientific, medical and technical. He has saved Snorktown several times from villains and natural disasters. He is All-Star's and Small-Star's Uncle and a friend to All-Star's gang.
  • Small-Star Seaworthy - a yellow-skinned, infant, female Snork. She is All-Star's baby sister.
  • Willie Wetworth - a infant, male Snork. He looks up to his big brother, Junior. He is the opposite of Junior - nice, friendly, and generous. He is friends with Small-Star.

For the third season (which premiered in syndication) in 1987, several changes were made to the series. The character Dimmy Finster was written out of the storylines, and three new characters were introduced: Corky (the Snork Patrol officer), and the series' new chief villains, Bigweed and his sidekick, Li'l Seaweed.
