Soar Valley FC


The Soar Valley area is also home to Soar Valley FC. They were established in 2006. Soar Valley FC is an under 17s football team currently playing in the Leicestershire Youth League [1].

Soar Valley FC has many rivalries including Barrow Town Under 17s, Shaka FC and GNG. Soar Valley FC scored they first victory with a 3-2 come-back against Shaka. SVFC's first goal was scored by Keiron Fowkes with the second scored by Oli Page and the third by Josh Thomas. During a match with GNG a fight broke out whilst the score was 0-0 and the game was subsequently abandoned.


During the start of the 2007/2008 season, assistant manager Keith Hillier and manager Andy Fowkes left the club by mutual consent.
