Soeuf Mohammed Elamine (born 1961)? is the foreign minister of Comoros. He first became foreign minister in 1999, following the military coup of Azali Assoumani. He resigned briefly in January 2002, along with Assoumani, to make way for a transitional government, but he was reappointed a few months later when Assoumani won elections and regained power.
In the second round of presidential elections, Ahmed Abdallah Sambi is elected with 58% of the votes against 28.3% for Ibrahim Halidi and 13.7% for Mohamed Djaanfari.
He names a new government on May 28, with Ahmed Said Jaffar as foreign minister and Hassani Hamadi as finance minister; Mohamed Abdoulwahab, the cabinet director, is in charge of defense.
In a cabinet reshuffle, Aboudou Soefou replaces Souef Mohamed El-Amine as foreign minister, Abdou Madi Mari replaces Houmed Msaidié as defense minister, and Oubeidi Mze Chei replaces Ahamadi Abdoulbastoi as finance minister.
