Geography According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 58.9 km˛ (22.7 mi˛). 56.6 km˛ (21.9 mi˛) of it is land and 2.3 km˛ (0.9 mi˛) of it is water. The total area is 3.83% water.
Demographics As of the census2 of 2000, there are 509 people, 202 households, and 136 families residing in the town. The population density is 9.0/km˛ (23.3/mi˛). There are 286 housing units at an average density of 5.0/km˛ (13.1/mi˛). The racial makeup of the town is 97.64% White, 0.20% African American, 0.98% Native American, 0.20% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.00% from other races, and 0.98% from two or more races. 0.98% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
