HSH Princess Sophie von Hohenberg Her Serene Highness Princess Sophie von Hohenberg (24 July 1901 – 27 October 1990) was the eldest of four children born of the morganatic marriage of Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria and Countess Sophie Chotek. Her mother was created Fürstin von Hohenberg at the time of the marriage, and the children were born with that title (boys were Fürst), though when their mother became Duchess von Hohenberg, they became Prince von Hohenberg or Princess von Hohenberg.
