Sopho Khalvashi (Georgian: სოფო ხალვაში),(Laz: Sopo Xalvaşi (born May 31, 1986 in Batumi) is a Georgian musical artist. She comes from a family of Laz origin. It was announced on December 12, 2006 that Sopho would represent her home nation at the Eurovision Song Contest 2007. The song "Visionary Dream" was Georgia's first entry into the contest. The song was previously called "My Story". Sopho claimed third prize at the commercial song contest "New Wave" 2006 in Jūrmala, Latvia.
