South Bucks is one of four local government districts in Buckinghamshire, in south central England.


It was formed on April 1, 1974 by the merger of Beaconsfield urban district and part of Eton Rural District, as Beaconsfield. It adopted its present name in 1980. It is actually formally called 'South Bucks' rather than 'South Buckinghamshire'.
