South Kensington (station code: SKN) is a small unmanned railway station with very basic waiting facilities on the Werribee, Sydenham and Williamstown lines in Melbourne, Australia, initially opened in 1891. The station has a small brick signal box on platform 2, which is normally switched out except when the communications link to Metrol fails. The station is bypassed by Sydenham bound trains except during trackwork on the Werribee line due to the low patronage of the station and also due to that the station only has two platforms. It has a small shelter and a Telstra payphone on platform 2, with a very basic, but larger shelter on platform 1, similar to what is found at most bus stops.
