In it's 22nd year, the Southend Airshow was the first seaside Airshow to be staged in the country.
Back on the ground to complement the activity in the air, there was an array of excellent displays, from the miltary displays put on by the Army, RAF and Royal Marines, to flight simulators and giant inflatables, exhbitors, and market and food stalls.
