Space sickness is what astronauts go through when they adapt to zero gravity. It is related to motion sickness. It is also called space adaptation syndrome.

In reflecting on this observation and some of his experience in space life sciences, Dr Watt asked himself whether such a strategy might play a role in the motion sickness, or space adaptation syndrome, that affects about 50% of astronauts at the beginning of a space flight.
TRE was conducted in space during this flight by Canadian astronaut Bob Thirsk.
It was found that astronauts do indeed adopt a torso rotation strategy early in flight and that this may play a role in the motion sickness often experienced early in flight.
