The Helen Foresman Spencer Museum of Art, or SMA, is an art museum on the campus of University of Kansas in Lawrence, Kansas. While admission is free, donations are accepted. It's sort of tempting in art history to delve into the history of things, which is important, but in art history you have to have a balance between historical facts and the actual object, and society and religion, things like that.
