Career

Spider Loc was first discovered by Suge Knight[4] and tagged along with Death Row Records but never signed a deal. In September 2004, Spider Loc met rapper Young Buck in Atlanta but he knew him before this and did an accepella for him[4]. A week later in Los Angeles, Young Buck introduced him to 50 Cent on the set of the "Shorty Wanna Ride" video, and he performed the same freestyle[4]. After four months, the rapper signed a record deal and a position with 50's G-Unit[4]. Death Row Records is a record label that was founded in 1991 by Dr. Dre and Suge Knight, and was once home to some of raps biggest names, including Tupac Shakur, Dr. Dre, Snoop Doggy Dogg and Tha Dogg Pound (Kurupt and Daz Dillinger). ... In 2004, Spider Loc first played a small role alongside former Death Row artist Crooked I in Bank Brothers. In 2005, he made his first voice acting 'appearance' as a character on 50 Cent: Bulletproof. In 2006, Spider Loc made his first TV appearance in an episode of Cold Case. 2007 Saw him making more on-screen appearances, firstly by starring in his own small-time movie along with Master P, titled Paroled, as a character named CJ Tillman. Spider Loc went on to play a small role in an episode of Numb3rs as a prisoner, before making an appearance on the hit show Weeds as a character named Two-strikes. Yukmouth

Spider Loc is known for stealing rapper Yukmouth's chain while in a night-club in Hollywood. In a 2006 interview, Spider Loc admitted to a brawl with Yukmouth and his entourage.[5] Spider Loc took pictures wearing Yukmouth's chain and they soon spread across the Internet, starting at indastreets.net. Yukmouth then made a few phone calls and received the chain back the next day. Yukmouth has dissed Spider Loc in many songs like "Aaadadamean" "Playa Hata" and "I'm The Shit." Spider Loc has said that his debut album will be called World Wide Web. It was originally to be released in late 2005 or first quarter 2006 "at the latest."[10]. In an April 2005 interview, the artist stated he was "trying to get it out 4th Quarter, but realistically, 1st Quarter might be more probable", meaning the beginning of 2006.[11] In a January 2006 interview, Spider Loc said, "I still don't have a release date, tentatively for the end of the summer.
