Spiral Architect is a Norwegian technical metal band. They have recorded two acclaimed demos and one album since they started up in 1993, as well as a Fates Warning cover A prelude to ruin for the tribute album Through Different Eyes - A Tribute to Fates Warning. Singer Øyvind Hægeland was lead vocalist of Norwegian heavy metal band Manitou during the 90's and Symphonic Avant-garde metal band Arcturus from 2003-2005, while drummer Asgeir Mickelson plays drums for Norwegian epic metal band Borknagar as well as doing session and live drums for a variety of bands including Testament, Sturmgeist, Vintersorg, Enslavement of Beauty, and Lunaris. For the time being gutarist Steinar Gundersen and bassist Lars K. Nordberg are working as session musicians for Norwegian black metal band Satyricon. ...
