Spoon Band Reviews (0 words)
To degrade Spoons fourth LP offering as nothing more than the experiments of a rock band into the arena of indie dance sounds is to ignore the depth and meticulousness with which Britt Daniel and company pen their songs.
The Spoon albums after this are more polished and good in their own way, but can feel a bit too much like they are a result of craft or skill.
Spoon is a rare modern band in its ability to create a unique, addictive sound in a minimalist style.
