Springburn Station is the terminus for the train running on the spur from Bellgrove Station, the Mingavie train, and occasionally trains from Helensburgh will terminate there. The Falkirk Greamstone train also runs through the station, running from Queen Street High Level, and running direct to Springburn via a chord that was laid in 1993. Before that the train would go to a siding in the Eastfield depot, as the driver would walk from one end of the train to another.
