Located just 25 minutes or 30km east of Geelong, St Leonards was the filming location for the hit Australian television show Sea Change.


St Leonards hosts a small, friendly community by the bay where many have enjoyed a quiet afternoon in the beer garden of the local pub overlooking the town's famous pier.


Summer tourists and holiday makers have been attracted to St Leonards by it's calm beach with fantastic sailing waters, the Esplanade memorial recording the landfalls of Matthew Flinders in 1802 and John Batman in 1835, Edwards Point Wildlife Reserve and most importantly, the bay and pier fishing.

Leonards is a coastal township on the end of the Bellarine Peninsula facing eastwards on to Port Phillip Bay.
There is a large nature reserve adjoining Salt Lagoon, St. Leonards Lake and an adjoining reserve in the township, an arboretum and another reserve along the main road to the jetty.
