A stadsdeel (pl. stadsdelen) is a country subdivision in the Netherlands. It is the name for 14 of the 15 deelgemeente of Amsterdam. The name is derived from stad (city) and deel (part). It may be translated as borough or ward. The stadsdelen have their own executive ('stadsdeelwethouders') and legislative ('Stadsdeelraad').
