A Stand Alone Complex can simply be defined as a term used for similar people who, as a result of a single action, become a series of hibitchual copy-cats. This imitation is usually a result of terrorist attacks or other actions brought about by strong views about polotics or religion. The Stand Alone Complex could be better defined as an Epidemic rather then a true Complex. For instance Arsonists will lay relatively dormant until an iduvidualist of their group starts a fire. Even without instruction or leadership these people will spring into action to imitate the original and move toward the same goal even if only subconsciously. The result is an epidemic of arson.
