The next book, Aftermath, planned to contain books 29 to 36, currently has a release date of November 2006. Future paperback reprints are likely to continue at a rate of two per year.
Relaunch After the conclusion of the What's Past storyline, the series will be undergoing a name change from Star Trek: S.C.E. to Star Trek: Corps of Engineers and dropping the numbering. The series will also be reduced to six books a year rather than twelve. The first book of the relaunched series, Turn the Page by Dayton Ward and Kevin Dilmore, will be released in December 2006.
