Staropramen’s Kvasnicak: this turbid, yeasty beer is available only in the brewery’s pub. Pivovary Staropramen a.s. is the second largest brewery in the Czech Republic, situated in the Smichov district of Prague. It was founded in 1869 and the brand name Staropramen, literally meaning “old spring,” was registered in 1911. It is owned by Inbev and its products are exported to 37 countries across the globe, mostly in Europe and North America. It has become one of Ireland's favorite premium lagers served as liberally as Guinness. So popular is this fine beverage that it has a strong following dedicated to drinking it. This group known as The Order of Staropramen even have their own theme song dedicated to the drink.
