Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia (Slovene: Statistični urad Republike Slovenije, SURS) is independent Slovenian government institution, in charge for official statistical surveying. It is responsible directly to the premier of the Republic of Slovenia. One of the activities is a nation-wide census every 10 years or so, the last was in 2002.
