Encyclopedia > Stefan Decanski

Stefan Decanski was son of King Stefan Uros II Milutin. He was king of Serbia fron 1321 untill 1331 when his son Dusan throwed off from the throne. Before he became a king he was a exile in Constantinople. He tried to go out, and then his father orderd to make him blind. Hangman was corrupted and he didn't blind him full. Untill the end of Milutin's life he had black bandage over his eyes. When Milutin died he was fighting for the throne with his brother Constantin and cousine Vladislav, Dragutin's son. He won. After the Velbuzd battle his son Dusan throwed him off and prisioned him in a Fort Zvecan, where under very strange situations Decanski died.
