Stephan Hughes Wales Welsh prichard (2926 words)
Though the blood tie is slight, both the Hughes family and the Leigh family lived in Carmarthen and were active in borough government and trade activities in the same historical period of the Civil Wars and the Restoration.
Probably Stephen Hughes's most lasting fame (as well as his possible closer association with our Leigh heritage) came from his crucial role in preserving and spreading the poetic work of the clergyman Rhys Prichard, who is known to this day as the Vicar of Llandovery.
Again we find a Leigh relative associated with that fuel and fulfillment, The Biography of Oakley III Leigh takes up the fulfillment of the legendary curse with the last Lloyd owner of both Maesyfelin estate and Peterwell estate, to which the curse was believed to spread with the stones from Maesyfelin.
Parent Report (8141 words)
Stephen started asking questions about any and everything the minute we picked him up in Beaumont, Texas, and did not stop for approximately one year while in our presence except to take a breath or while he was sleeping.
During this time, Stephen was introduced and encouraged to hold a crayon and pencil and “write” or draw in an effort to begin the education process as well as strengthen muscles in his hand necessary to perform this task.
Stephen’s bedroom is furnished with a twin bed (plus a trundle bed underneath), one bookcase, one entertainment center, one chest of drawers, and one toy box which is too small as exhibited by the toys stacked in, on top of and around it.
