Stereopathetic Soulmanure is a 1994 album by Beck, released on Flipside Records, comprising mostly home demos, live performances, and abstract noise experiments. Although a lo-fi recording of a largely uncommercial nature, Stereopathetic Soulmanure is actually Beck's second official album, released, perhaps, to downplay his then-notoriety as a novelty act for his current Top 10 hit "Loser". Going completely unnoticed at its release, the album remains an interesting and sometimes bizarre curio for hardcore Beck followers. Beck would soon return with another independent release, the plaintive and largely acoustic One Foot in the Grave - his third album of 1994 - before recording his major label follow-up Odelay. There is also a screwy pressing that breaks parts of "No Money No Honey," "One Foot In The Grave" and "Aphid Manure Heist" into separate tracks, which causes all tracks after "Crystal Clear (Beer)" to be off from the tracklisting on the back cover. This pressing also omits the short snippet of dialogue called "Ken" and keeps the bonus noise on the same track as "Modesto."

Though this isn't the best place to encounter Beck's myriad talents, SOUL MANURE accurately represents both Beck's reckless, experimental side and his traditional leanings.
