The Stock Exchange of Singapore (SES) was a stock exchange company in Singapore.


It merged with the Singapore International Monetary Exchange (SIMEX) on December 1, 1999, to form the Singapore Exchange (SGX).

Under the 1934 Act, every stock exchange is subject to registration with the Securities and Exchange Commission, which may be denied unless the exchange adopts rules providing for the discipline, suspension, or expulsion of a member who engages in conduct inconsistent with just and equitable principles of trade.
