Stuart Margolin (Born January 31, 1940 in Davenport, Iowa) is an American film and television actor and director. He is best known for his Emmy Award-winning role on the television show The Rockford Files, playing Jim Rockford's (James Garner) shifty friend and former cellmate Evelyn "Angel" Martin.
