Additionally, Stylus had daily features like The Singles Jukebox, which looked at pop singles from around the globe, and Soulseeking, a column focused on personal responses in listening, which yielded essays on topics from music overconsumption to heartbreak to navigating the critical hivemind.
While the site's numbers never reached the levels of Pitchfork Media's readership, it did receive many notices in the press for the quality of its writing. Nick Southall's article "Imperfect Sound Forever," was chosen by Robert Christgau as one of the best pieces of music writing in Da Capo's Best Music Writing 2007[1] and in 2006 it was chosen by the Observer Music Monthly as one of the internet's 25 most essential music websites [2].
