A well-known story of Sulayman involves his interactions with the Queen of Sheba, Bilqis. According to the story, Bilqis was a wise ruler, but her people worshipped the sun and moon. Sulayman told her to stop, but she instead tried to flatter him with gifts. These only served to anger him further, and he set out for her lands with an army. On the way, he passed through the Valley of Ants and heard them speak. He began to feel mercy for the Bilqis' people and decided not to harm them. However, the Queen had already been informed of what was happening and set forth to personally patch up relations. Before Bilqis arrived, Sulayman ordered a person with knowledge of the Book to bring him one of Bilquis' thrones. Upon her arrival, Bilqis was asked to identify it, and she did. Bilqis, so overwhelmed by the wisdom and power of Sulayman, eventually married him and became his wife. The Queen of Sheba, referred to in the Bible books of 1 Kings and 2 Chronicles, the Quran, and Ethiopian history, was the ruler of Sheba, an ancient kingdom which modern archeology speculates was located in present-day Ethiopia or Yemen . ... Mention of Solomon in the Qur'an

In the Qur'an a reference is also made to the writings of Salamo, the so called Book(s) of Wisdom. Jesus knew these writing according 5:110: "I taught thee the Book and Wisdom, the Law and the Gospel and behold! thou makest out of clay, as it were, the figure of a bird, by My leave, and thou breathest into it and it becometh a bird by My leave, and thou healest those born blind, and the lepers, by My leave. And behold! thou bringest forth the dead by My leave"
