Sunita Alahan, née Parekh, is a fictional character in the British soap opera Coronation Street. She arrived in 2001 and was born in 1978. She arrived on the Street after fleeing Mumbai, where she was meant to be having an arranged marriage. She worked in one of Dev Alahan's shops and dated Ciaran McCarthy for a while, and they planned to get married but she didn't go through with it. She then later married Dev and in 2004, Dev's ex tried to kill them both by blowing up all of Dev's shops. They survived this but they have now split up after Sunita became pregnant with twins before finding out Dev also had many other children which he hadn't told her about.
