  Results from FactBites:

Sunkist (soft drink) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (336 words)
Sunkist is the name of a brand of orange-flavored soft drink launched in 1978.
After extensive RandD during 1977 and early 1978, in which research was conducted on taste, color and carbonation levels, Sunkist made a grand introduction in New York (interestingly by franchising it to The Coca-Cola Bottling Company of New York, where Edward F. O'Reilly was president).
Sunkist (as a carbonated soft drink) is sold in the UK by Vimto Soft Drinks under license from Sunkist Growers.
Sunkist Case Study (6034 words)
If Sunkist is not able to supply these giants with the citrus they want, in the packaging and form that they want, they have two options: 1) go to a supplier who will, or 2) begin multiple point sourcing, gathering citrus from anywhere and everywhere and to repackage and re-brand on their own terms.
Sunkist’s policy at the time was that the prorate provisions worked well to maintain a constant level of volume to market through the season and, in turn, produce consistent returns to growers.
Sunkist fresh fruit shipments are divided as 42 percent for navel oranges, 26 percent for valencia oranges, 22 percent for lemons, 7 percent for grapefruit, and the remainder for tangerines.
