"Supawoman" is the sixth single from American Idol finalist, Kimberley Locke, and first from her Based On A True Story album. While the album version is a downtempo R&B song, an 80's Drum and Bass inspired remix by Def Jef was made for radio release. It was sent out for adds at pop radio on August 7, 2006. Fan reaction to the song was positive, however opinions on the remix were mixed. Even though the song was used in Lane Bryant's advertising campaign, the remix was not well received at pop radio and got very little airplay and failed to chart.
