South America - "Other Copas" (350 words)
Apart from the Copa Libertadores, the Supercopa, the Copa Conmebol, and the Recopa, several other club tournaments are being or have been played, such as the Supercopa Masters since 1992, the Copa de Oro since 1993, and the Copa Conmebol Masters since 1996.
Like the Supercopa and Copa Conmebol, all the cups below have been discontinued, leaving the Copa Libertadores as the only South American club tournament to be taken seriously.
The tournament should not be confused with the friendly summer tournament (January/February) in Mar del Plata.
