The Supreme Novices' Hurdle is a race for novice hurdlers, run at the Cheltenham Festival, over a distance of two miles. It has Grade one status and is considered the premier race for short-distance novice hurdlers. Many winners of the race go on to become successful in the Champion Hurdle, or Chasing events, such as the Queen Mother Champion Chase. The Supreme Novices' Hurdle is traditionally the first race run at the Festival. The Cheltenham Festival is the most prestigious meeting in the National Hunt racing calendar in the United Kingdom. ...
