Svenska Akademiens Ordbok (SAOB) is a dictionary published by the Swedish Academy, with the official title Ordbok över svenska språket utgiven av Svenska Akademien. This dictionary is the Swedish counterpart of the Oxford English Dictionary. The first volume was published in 1898 and today (2005) work has progressed to words beginning with the letter "T", and words from A to TILL are available in the online version of the dictionary. The dictionary has approximately 450,000 main entries, and is expected to be complete around 2017. ...
