It is a wuxia novel written by the Chinese author Louis Cha under the pen name Jinyong. Plot summary

There are 20 chapters in the 3rd edition of this work. The plot centers around a master swordman named Yuan Chengzhi (袁承志)who witness the end of the Ming Dynasty and aid the Li Zicheng rebellion while the Manchurians are invading proper China.
