Wherever he travels, His Holiness makes it a point to emphasize to his followers the importance of respect and love for the country of which they are citizens. His Holiness has been recognized wherever he has traveled as an Ambassador of Peace and a true embodiement of Islam. His Holiness also emphasizes brotherhood and friendship amongst all religions around the world. In August 2005, His Holiness inaugurated another new mosque in the United States - in Fremont, California (metropolitan San Francisco) and was congratulated by various officials and dignitaries from local, state and the United States governments.
