History
TEENick premiered in 2001 and was hosted then by Nick Cannon. When J Boogie started hosting TEENick, in the summer of 2003, the name changed to TEENick Spin the Bottle[citation needed]. In 2004, the block was changed back to TEENick.
In late 2004, the preteen-oriented block took over SNICK (the network's long-running Saturday-night program block). SNICK remained as is, with just the TEENick name replacing the SNICK name. At that time TEENick began to play a variety of shows on both Saturdays and Sundays.
