TROOP! is an East Coast born, Los Angeles-based sketch comedy group of writers/performers who have been working together for over 7 years. The group has had the same line-up since its inception by members: Kevin Chesley, Jay Dugre, Britt Erickson, Steve Sabellico, Brent Simons, and Bryan Shukoff. Born in 1997, the group performs across the nation in comedy fests in Seattle, Chicago, Portland, Washington DC, and San Francisco.
They've won the Audience choice award in the Bass Ale Red Triangle Comedy Tour and performed for the National Lampoon's "Not So Silent Pictures" television show.
When in Los Angeles, they can be seen at such venues as The McCadden Theatre, The Stella Adler Theatre, Improv Olympic, The Comedy Store,
They are attractive people and relatively harmless. The become quite docile when given Vanilla Cokes.

In the United States Army, in the cavalry branch, a troop is the equivalent unit to the infantry company, commanded by a captain and consisting of 3 or 4 platoons, and subordinate to a squadron (battalion).
Troop equipment is also available for checkout by individual Scouts or Patrols to encourage family and patrol camping.
Troop Committee meetings are held the first Monday of each month at the same time as the troop meeting; all parents are always not only welcomed but are encouraged to attend.
