1. European Television (not TV1EU) is a European Union-wide television station going operational on January 31, 2005.


Some available programs will include:

  • JournalTV1EU: Daily news at 20:00 CET. Only the facts will be presented, without comments and/or conclusions
  • The BonjourEuropa, BuonaSeraEuropa and GoodNightEurope magazines.
  • JuniorTV: child content
  • Teenage: teen content
  • EULive: live broadcasting from 120 cameras around the EU each Sunday.
  • MissEU
  • Hallo Europa

1. European Television will be available both in cable and satellite (likely Astra & Hotbird).


Most programs will be produced externally, in English, French, German, Spanish or Italian. They will later be broadcast in all official EU languages, after dubbing.
