• In 1991, the "TV3 7:00 News" and the "TV3 Buletin Utama" were chosen to be Malaysia's news entries for the American cable TV network Scola, which carries news programs from around the world. The two TV3 news programs aired on alternating days in Scola's schedule. Scola dropped TV3's news programs from their schedule in 1994.
• TV3 is currently the only channel in Malaysia that still carries Teletext signal. Known as Infonet, it is available to television sets with Teletext capabilities. Before being renamed to Infonet, TV3's Teletext service was called Beriteks , and was launched in 1984.
• TV3 was the first channel in Malaysia to broadcast a 3D-movie on January 2001. Recently, TV3 began switching their VHF broadcast over to NICAM, although their UHF transmission is still in Zweikanalton. TV3 was also experimenting with Bilingual over Zweikanalton for a short period of time in the early nineties.
