Take a Look in the Mirror is the sixth album by the band Korn. It has sold 1,900,000 copies worldwide making it Korn's 2nd least successful album to date. Within its songs, "Did My Time" was featured previously in the O.S.T. for "Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life", and "Right Now" was accompanied by a provocatory cartoon video drawn by Spike and Mike. In contrast to the more tortured and depressing sound of their previous album, Untouchables, Take a Look in the Mirror marks Korn's return to a raw, stripped-down nu-metal sound of their earlier albums. Untouchables is the fifth album by Korn. ... The album features a reworking and re-recording of the track "Alive", the first song the band wrote which appeared only on the bands first demo up until this point. Also of note is the song "Play Me", which features rapper Nas and is the first Korn album since Follow the Leader to feature such. The album is followed by a long silence before a live cover of Metallica's "One" kicks in. The album was also released in a "clean" version which utilized backmasking as well as growling in place of profanity adding to the intensity of songs like "Break Some Off". While the album sold over 1 million US units, it is the 2nd lowest selling Korn studio album, with the lowest being the newly released Untitled album. Although time will probably have Untitled's sales surpassing Take a look in the Mirror's. It is Ironic that this was Head's last Korn album and in the last track of this album name, was what Head's been questioning for a while and is later answered in 2005. However, later on, many fans felt that the album was boring, repetitive, and forced, causing some fans give up their appreciation they had for the band permanently.
Ironically, the eventual disappointment with Take a Look in the Mirror may have caused fans to enjoy and appreciate albums like Issues and Untouchables more.

For fifteen bucks, "Take a Look in the Mirror" is a smart purchase for any fan of metal music.
Don't take this to mean that the lyrics are ridiculous just because Davis is swearing his head off, the music itself is extremely energetic and Davis gives a credible performance, hence my high rating.
